Gurl, we’ve been waiting 10 years for this new release!! Do you wish it had come out earlier, or do you believe that things happen when they’re supposed to?

Well, I have to believe that I am in the right place at the right time...
I plan to move things along much quicker this time!

There have been vast changes in the industry in those years. How do you think they will affect you and this beautiful CD “Outrun The Sky” in particular?

Yes I do, but it isn't a part of my everyday life. I don't deal so much with others expectations of me - mine are already so high...

Van Hunt, Rahsaan Patterson, Jazzanova - and I just reacquired a gang of old records I used to listen to all the time - Thomas Dolby, Boz Scaggs, Grace Jones...

What cha watching, or what have you recently seen and dug? (TV, film, DVD)

I am hooked on CSI. Forensics fascinate me!
I also saw "Ray", which was phenomenal.

Working this record, hopefully on the road with the Daughters of Soul!
