Sandra St.Victor
Back

Till recently, creator of 'Daughters of Soul' Dallas born Sandra St. Victor, was especially known for the hit song 'Ghetto Heaven' as the former leadsinger of the soulcultband 'The Family Stand'. Other cooperations as a co-lead- or leadsinger brought her already to productions, song-writing and tours with  Prince, Curtis Mayfield, Chaka Khan, Daryl Hall and Roy Ayers. This will change now. Her second critically acclaimed solo-album 'Gemini, Both Sides' (Expansion Records, 2002) had a release at the end of last year and is a willful soulalbum with contributions by Donald Byrd, The Roots and Roy Ayers. Sandra is THE (nu-) Soul ‘Mack Diva’ of our time, but she is so much more. A powerhouse vocalist whose soulful tones and earthy intensity mark her as an extraordinary artist, she is an urban storyteller with the innate ability to evoke a myriad of emotions. With the 'Daughters of Soul' project, Sandra is taking her passion for the stage a step further, by putting together incredible package performances for Europe and the US. Look out for 'Daughters Of Soul 2005!'
